5 REMIXE5

Light Year is on fire right now, their 5 Remixes of 5 Girls is absolutely fire right now, with the badest bunch of mofo's behind what is my absolute favorite EP right now. I know I say "This is my Favorite Song," often but a remix from my favorite produce and DJ Harvard Bass remix is something I am quite excited for. This CHHHUUUNNNEEE is hands down my go to track for mixing of raging. I don't even need to speak for the Disco King Strip Steve, French-phenom Alex Gopher, and the Finger('d your asshole) Prince... Sorry, I'm a bit too excited perhaps. Yet with an EP like this, it's hard not to be!! 5 REMIXE5 by Light Year

Little Dragon - Ritual Union Remixes

What's hotter than a Sweed-Asian Lady? A remix by Maya Jane Coles and Tensnake.. that's what If you aren't familiar with Little Dragon you may have heard her voice featured in songs such as SBTRKT's Wildfire or two songs off the Gorillaz EP Plastic Bench. I've been in love with Tensnake lately, featured on Radio One, and churning out some mad remixes, this guy is one groovy cat to keep an eye on. Speaking of groove, nothing beats the Queen of Deep House, Maya Jane Coles, whos remix is one of my favorites at the moment. PFG151 Little Dragon Ritual Union Remixes by Peacefrog Records

Azari & III

Azari & III may be my favorite group atm, not only are they signed to the Tiga's Montreal powerhouse label Turbo, but they have a slew of big name remixes from the likes of Tensnake, Art Department, Sei A, and the most recent the Finger Prince... just to name a few. Not only do Azari & III bring old school Chicago house back, but also the dimly-lit-4-am-dancefloor sound that's reminiscent of early Tiga Manic - The Finger Prince Static Situation Mix by Azari & III

Clouds

Another Duo, but from Perth, Scottland. New school producers of the digital age, they know nothing of chicago house or viynl, but with tunes like this Coin Operated Boy remix, one really can't complain. Releasing music on Fake Blood's Blood music and Tiga's Turbo Records in one year, one cannot doubt that Clouds is bound to go places. With a sound that's been defined as Bass-oriented dancemusic, you are in for a mind bending treat. They also have a EP that was released on Turbo (Best Record Label) a few months back.

Cosmin TRG

One of my favorite producers, nobody creates such a shady atmosphere as TRG. With scratchy loops, deep bass and ace sampling, Cosmin TRG creates a sound comprable to that of Burial, yet his outer-space/underwater lounge feeling is unparalleled by any artist. TRG is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Emancipator

Very deep and rich sounding music, comprable to Pretty Lights and Big Gigantic. New for me at least, very much like the entire EP Emancipator - Greenland (origamitracks.blogspot.com) by origamitracks

Timelss

Listen to Boards of Canada, they are quite old and probably defunct by now... Yet nothing comes close to the finely crafted masterpieces these two men are responsable for.
